HOW TO ENJOY LIFE AND BECOME A SUCCESSFUL ENTREPRENEUR
I am a woman who was born a dreamer. At times, my dreams were the only things that carried me forward. It’s important to have dreams, but it’s more important to realize them. Though my journey was long and often difficult, virtually all of my dreams have come true. I say virtually because I know that there are many more to come, for age has no corner on accomplishment. Throughout my life, I have experienced spectacular highs and devastating lows, shed tears that would overflow a river, laughed so hard it would make the angels smile, and felt unbelievable pride—as a daughter, as a woman, a wife, a mother, and an entrepreneur. That is the wonder of life. Living it to its fullest glory is the gift we can all create. Drawing on my experience, I have discovered that I now have the mission to inspire others that they too can have a goal and the determination to achieve it. That is why I have written my story, “Butterfly in a Storm” and as a featured speaker at many conferences, I enjoy sharing it with all those who dream of creating their own business or achieving a dream. As a speaker, I have international experience: I began accepting invitations to speak at conferences around the world in 1986 on a variety of issues dealing with entrepreneurship and women’s issues. I have been interviewed on radio and television in Europe, the United States, Africa, Asia and the Middle East in English, French and German. During my speech, I involve the audience directly in the discussions, using humor and personal anecdotes to break the barrier between speaker and listeners. I speak from my heart in simple and direct ways that touch a cord with my audience. I also love to share my story with the men who Rock and Support Women's Achievements.
